More than 1360 students study at the faculty, who are 1200 students are enrolled in daytime studies and 160 students study at the correspondence department. In the daytime department, 900 students study in Tajik groups and 300 students in Russian groups.

The faculty has a rich scientific and technical potential, which employs more than 20 scientific research laboratories. At the faculty worked and working leading scientists of the faculty.
